Move For Hunger
Southwest Movers Association works in conjunction with Move For Hunger, a non-profit that partners with moving companies to pick up unwanted, unopened food during the moving process and deliver it to local food banks.

Move U Program
The Move-U Training Program is designed to enable moving company employees to solve real problems and demonstrate proper techniques needed to succeed in the industry.
The program includes comprehensive classroom training for movers, loaders, packers, drivers and supervisors through the use of videos, training manuals and hands-on instruction. The program will take place in a Simulated Move Environment where members will have hands-on instruction in a mock home setting. Upon successful completion, members will receive certification by Professional Mover Training and Development Inc.
The Southwest Movers Association Foundation is a non-profit educational, public relations, research and community service organization that promotes the moving industry throughout the state of Texas and the four contiguous states.
